I'm a full time designer, part time rock star, and 24/7 foodie. I am the girl behind the site thetomatotart.com, which I guess, makes me The Tomato Tart. I live in San Francisco's Mission District with my husband and Ruby, our sweet little pit bull.
Juicy plums, rich zinfandel, and aromatic spices make this seasonal plum ketchup a new favorite in our house. Inspired by our move to Sonoma County, this ketchup is made with local ingredients and spiced with star anise.

This no-cook blackberry chutney is spicy from jalapenos, sweet from berries, tart from apple cider vinegar, and easy by virtue of the fact that it's no cook. It tastes good right away and even better after sitting overnight.
Daunted by canning, no more, I've leapt in with both feet. This sweet & gingery chutney was wholey inspired by the abundant baskets of fruit at a local farmers market. Packed with organic pears, apples, dried cherries & spices, it is warmth in a jar.
