Sweet peaches, a nit of heat from chili peppers with brown sugar to bring in some caramel flavour and mellow roasted garlic! Amazing on baked brie but it will be great on roast pork too.
This is peach blueberry jam with a hint of orange liqueur and set using Pomona' Pectin. Pomona's was surprisingly forgiving to someone who was too tired to follow instructions when canning late at night.
One of the best fruits of summer, Peaches, are enhanced by the delicate floral notes of honey and the hint of Bergamot in Earl Grey Tea. For some reason I can't get Do-Re-Mi from Sound of Music out of my head...
The mild flavour of Black Raspberries is enhanced by the addition of Chambord and honey in this jam. This is also a case of finding some booze in the back of the cupboard that worked perfectly!
This is the jam you want to bring out for company! The Port gives the jam a deep red colour and a sophisticated note. The delicious strawberries still stand strong since the flavours compliment each other giving the jam layers.
Rhubarb gets a new life from fresh picked strawberries. They are happily ever after with the addition of honey and vanilla bean. My husband has been eating it out of the jar with a spoon.
