My name is Nicole Pearce and I live in Fairbanks, Alaska with my partner David and our two dogs Brody and Arrluk. I live in the quintessential Alaska Cabin, with one exception...running water and indoor plumbing. Most of my friends do not have these luxuries and actually enjoy living without them. Not me...I like my hot shower at the end of a hard day. I can't imagine washing all my dishes without running water.That doesn't mean I don't get the most from Alaska living. I enjoy being able to walk from my front door and pick all the cranberries and blueberries I can fit in my freezer each year. I love to sit quietly and sleep in during the winter and in the summer enjoy the endless days.
