We believe that everyone (that’s you, by the way) should have access to, as much as possible, foods and beverages that are produced/grown within 100 miles of where they live. Unfortunately, today, this is not as easy as you might think. Our food supply has become industrialized, depersonalized, and commercialized to the point where our caveman ancestors would hardly recognize what we eat as food. Do we advocate mugging squirrels for their nuts and spearing the neighbors poodle to provide your daily protein? Maybe, but let’s start small. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
