My name is Heather, and I have been canning jams, pickles and other preserves for several years. I live with my husband, two kids and two dogs in a home that is around 700 square feet. Besides Jammed In, I also work for a local nursery, both in the yard and as a garden writer. I work primarily from home, which gives me the time and flexibility to do things like preserving, but also bread baking, cheese making, and growing our own fruits and vegetables.
