We asked, you told: What are the things that are in season where you are that you are looking for fresh inspiration on how to prepare or preserve? I put your questions to Cheryl Sternman Rule, author of Ripe: A Fresh, Colorful Approach to Fruits and Vegetables (in collaboration with photographer Paulette Phlipot), and Paige Bayer of SV Local Market. We picked the cream of the crop, and pulled a few recipes and ideas that we love.
