Let's Talk About Salame

Friends! Romans! Charcutiers! Lend me your ears! 

Join me and Columbus Salame, for a brief Twitter party tomorrow, July 31, at 1 pm PDT to talk about our favorite cured pig products, most especially salame. And as if the joy of discussing the finer points of salumi weren't enough, there's a bonus: For the first questions, one lucky recipient will receive a gift basket full of Columbus Salame. And, for the final question, one person will win much-coveted tickets for the Saturday grand tasting at this weekend's SFChefs. Food. Wine. event. Aside from sips and bites from the bay's best chefs, brewers and winemakers, you can check in on special demos and classes.

Columbus has been producing excellent salumi since the founders arrived in San Francisco from Italy in 1917. Personally, I'm a fan, and so am excited to have this opportunity to work with them. (Disclosure: I am receiving no cash compensation for this event, though I will also receive tickets to SFChefs.)
