This traditional Middle Eastern condiment is difficult to find in stores; thank goodness it's easy to make at home. The flavor is explosively sweet/tart, and goes on everything from meats and fish, to salads and veggies.
Homemade grenadine is really easy to make, it adds a little more zing than the store bought kind. When I tasted it I wasreally surprised how much it tasted like the real thing. A little less syrupy, more flavorful version of the real thing.
