Last summer, we finally had a bumper crop of blackberries. I sent the boys out with Hubby-san to pick some berries for a pie, and they came back with FIVE baskets full of purple goodness. I made the pie, then made pie filling. Delicious!
As I was looking for ideas on how I could use my freshly picked blackberries, I came across this unusual jelly recipe that included hot peppers. I modified the recipe to fit my taste preferences and made a jam instead of jelly. Everyone loved it!
